Tenley started
working stockdogs
the way most people do….being told or, more often, yelled at by
instructors and clinicians telling her to make her dogs stop, down,
turn, slow down, etc. while they ran in a frenzy around stock but she
was not given the tools or methods to insert herself into that
situation to accomplish even the simplest task. Working dogs
was
an exercise in frustration and anger. |
